Shrestha elected chair of RM Federation

Kathmandu –Hom Narayan Shrestha has been unanimously elected the Chair of National Federation of Rural Municipalities of Nepal. 
The second general convention of the Federation unanimously elected today a 37-member executive committee led by Shrestha. 

Bansa Lal Tamang is the General Secretary, Dil Maya Budhamagar the Treasurer while Prem Kumar Rai, Khim Bahadur Thapa, Man Bahadur Dangi, Bhola Prasad Gupta, according to senior programme officer of the Federation Rajendra Pyakurel. 
Chairs and Vice-chairs of 400 rural municipalities took part in the three-day convention that began on March 31.
