Young woman found dead at a Kathmandu hotel

Kathmandu, January 2 — A young woman has been found dead at Bagmati Hotel in Gaushala, Kathmandu.

Susmita Khadka, a resident of Kageshwori Manohara Municipality, Kathmandu, was discovered dead, according to an official from the Kathmandu District Police Range who spoke to Ratopati.

The Valley Crime Investigation Office and the Kathmandu District Police Range are investigating the incident.

Susmita was last seen arriving at the hotel on December 31. When the door remained closed for a long time, the hotel staff alerted the police.

Upon breaking open the door, Susmita was found dead in the room. She was a third-year undergraduate student.
