Revolution still alive in Nepal: Om Sharma
Kathmandu, December 26 — Om Sharma, the leader of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre) and the head of the Public Policy and Strategic Studies Centre, has stated that the revolution is still alive in Nepal.
Speaking at an event held at Nepal Academy on Thursday to mark the 132nd Mao Day, Sharma mentioned that the recent actions of Netra Bikram Chand 'Biplav' and Janardan Sharma 'Prabhakar' have sent some important messages.
He said, "The revolution is not dead yet. During the earthquake, Janardan Sharma reached villages in Rukum and carried out humanitarian work. Biplav has engaged in production work across the country."
Sharma further stated, "The actions of these two young individuals have sent a message. Even though they are mature in age, their ideas are not outdated. Their work has sent a new message that the revolution is not dead."
