Malekhu landslide clears, Prithvi Highway open for two-way traffic

Kathmandu, December 24 — The blocked Prithvi Highway has been cleared and is now operational after a landslide in Dhading's Malekhu.

On Tuesday evening, a landslide occurred in Malekhu, located in Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-3, blocking the highway.

SP Naresh Subedi from the Prithvi Highway Security and Traffic Management Office in Chitwan informed Ratopati that the highway has been reopened after clearing the debris.

According to him, the highway is now open for two-way traffic.
