NPL Qualifier 2: Karnali Yaks post 118 runs against Janakpur Bolts

Kirtipur, December 19 — Karnali Yaks were restricted to a modest total of 118 runs in their innings during the second qualifier match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) against Janakpur Bolts at Kirtipur.

Choosing to field first, Janakpur Bolts' bowlers dominated the proceedings, with tight bowling and regular breakthroughs that left Karnali struggling for runs.

The top scorer for Karnali was Gulsan Jha who scored 25 off 20 balls which included one boundary and two sixes.

Dev Khanal contributed 24 runs off 20 balls, including three boundaries and a six.

Other notable contributions came from William Bosisto who scored 14 off 15 balls. Zeeshan Maqsood managed 12 runs from 11 balls.

Mohammad Mohsin picked up two wickets for just 14 runs in his four overs, including a key wicket of Zeeshan Maqsood.

Lalit Rajbanshi took two wickets conceding 22 runs.

James Neesham took two wicket for 30 runs for Janakpur Bolts.
