NPL nearing end, fans' enthusiasm unwavering (photos)

Kathmandu, December 18 — The Nepal Premier League (NPL) matches are nearing their conclusion.

In Wednesday's eliminator match, Karnali Yaks faced Chitwan Rhinos, where Karnali Yaks emerged victorious, securing a spot in the second qualifier.

In the first qualifier, also played on Wednesday, Sudurpashchim Royals stunned Janakpur Bolts to secure a place in the final. Janakpur will now face Karnali in the second qualifier, which will be played on Thursday.

As of Wednesday, 30 matches have been played in the NPL. However, the enthusiasm and passion of cricket fans remain as high as ever.

The stands at Tribhuvan University Ground in Kirtipur are still packed with spectators.

It’s still possible to see fans watching the game from tree branches, showing their unwavering dedication.

The support from fans has made the first edition of this tournament a success.
