In pictures: Karnali Yaks enter second qualifier of NPL

Kathmandu, December 18 — Led by captain Sompal Kami, Karnali Yaks have advanced to the second qualifier of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) after defeating Chitwan Rhinos by 21 runs in the Eliminator match.

In the match played at the Kirtipur International Cricket Ground, Karnali Yaks won the toss and chose to bat, setting a target of 176 runs after scoring 175/6 in 20 overs.

Chitwan Rhinos, in response, were restricted to 154/9 in their 20 overs, thus falling short by 21 runs.

The defeat marks the end of Chitwan Rhinos' title hopes.

Karnali Yaks will now face the loser of the first qualifier in a must-win second qualifier for a chance to enter the final.
