CPN (US) divides responsibilities among central leaders

Kathmandu, December 18 — The CPN (Unified Socialist) has divided responsibilities among its central leaders. This comes five and a half months after the party's national convention, with the decision finalized during a standing committee meeting held on Tuesday, December 11.

As per the division, Jhalanath Khanal has been assigned the responsibility for the school department, while Dr. Beduram Bhusal has been made the head of the organization department. Premesh Hamal has been given charge of the foreign department, and Ghanendra Basnet will oversee the state affairs department.

Rajendra Pandey, Jagannath Khatiwada, Prakash Jwala, Jayanti Rai, Bhanubhakta Joshi, Dharmanath Prasad Sah, and Gangalal Tuladhar have been assigned responsibilities for various provinces and departments.

Ghanshyam Bhusal has been given the responsibility for monitoring, while Rajendra Rai will be in charge of the Koshi province.

Other leaders have also been assigned responsibilities for various provinces and departments, including Ramkumar Bhattarai (Office Secretary), Garima Shah (Parliamentary In-charge), and Laxman KC (Youth In-charge).

However, the formal announcement of the division of responsibilities has not yet been made public by the party.
