UML announces a three-month Ward-Centered Campaign

Kathmandu, December 17 — The Communist Party of Nepal (CPN-UML) has announced a three-month "Ward-Centered Campaign" from mid-January to mid-March.

The party plans to make the party a decisive national force for the upcoming elections.

Secretary of the Organization Department, Madhav Dhungel, shared that the party will finalize the modality for the campaign after discussions with the central secretariat.

"The resolution to run the ward-centered campaign has already been made in the workshop. Now, the modality of the program will be decided in discussions with the party secretariat," Dhungel told Ratopati. "Discussions are ongoing regarding the format of the program, including the level of leaders who will participate."

The national workshop on "Problems and Solutions in Party Work at Local Levels," organized by the Central Organization Department, has outlined a six-point resolution, including the three-month ward-centered campaign.

The workshop, held on December 14 and 15, was attended by 300 participants, including party executives, provincial, district-level organizations, and designated representatives from across the country.
