RSP not to field candidate for Kirtipur mayor

Kathmandu, November 17 — The Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has decided not to field a candidate for mayor in Kirtipur Municipality in the upcoming local election, scheduled for December 1.

Pradeep Bista, the party's coordinator for Kathmandu District, informed that the party will not be contesting in Kirtipur Municipality.

However, the party will be fielding a candidate in Ward 16 of Kathmandu Metropolitan City. Bista shared that the party has decided to field Rojina Shrestha for the chair position of this ward.
