Lamichhane to remain in Bhairahawa tonight, transferred to Kaski tomorrow
Butwal, November 14 — Former Home Minister and President of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rabi Lamichhane, will remain in Bhairahawa today (Thursday).
According to the Rupandehi District Police Office, he will be sent to Kaski tomorrow (Friday) morning.
Rupandehi's Superintendent of Police (SP) Ranjit Singh Rathore confirmed that Lamichhane would be held at the district police office today and transferred to Kaski the following morning.
Although there were plans to send him via Buddha Air this evening, the transfer was delayed, and it will now take place tomorrow.
Lamichhane was brought to Bhairahawa from Kaski on Tuesday. He had been questioned for three days regarding accusations of organized fraud linked to the Supreme Cooperative in Butwal.
