Lamichhane summoned for second round of questioning in Rupandehi
Butwal, November 13 — Former Home Minister and President of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rabi Lamichhane, has been brought to the Rupandehi District Government Attorney's Office for a second round of questioning.
According to the District Police Office, he was summoned for questioning related to the investigation of the Supreme Cooperative case. Lamichhane was brought to Rupandehi from Kaski yesterday for further investigation and testimony.
Lamichhane is under investigation for allegedly embezzling 14.29 million rupees from Suprem Savings and Credit Cooperative, which was then spent at Gorkha Media Network Pvt. Ltd. He is accused of organized fraud in relation to this matter.
During his statement, Lamichhane denied taking any money from the cooperative.
