Four injured in Achham jeep accident
Achham, October 31 — Four people were injured in a jeep accident in Ridikot, Achham. The jeep, with the license plate Lu 1 Ja 4711, crashed due to brake failure, resulting in injuries to four individuals from Bajura.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Ishwar Prasad Bhandari from the Achham District Police Office, the jeep was en route to Bajura when it overturned into a ditch along the Mid-Hill Highway in Ridikot.
The injured include 19-year-old Nanda Budha from Triveni Municipality-6, 27-year-old Rajendra Luhar and his six-year-old son Saksham Luhar from Budhiganga Municipality-4, and 23-year-old Rohit Rawat, the driver from Khaptad Chhededaha Rural Municipality Rural Municipality-3 in Bajura.
Nanda Budha sustained serious injuries to her head and face, while the other injured individuals are in stable condition. They are receiving treatment at the Nyaya Health Bayalpata Hospital, Achham.
The driver is currently in police custody.
