Man arrested for killing wife in Udaypur
Kathmandu, October 9 — The police have arrested 36-year-old Janga Bahadur Ghising from Udaypur who was carrying the chopped head of his wife. Ghising is a resident of Jalajale, Katari Municipality-6.
He killed his wife, 28-year-old Pramila Lama, around 6:30 pm on Tuesday. Udaypur SP Harihar Yogi told Ratopati that he was arrested while walking with the head of his wife after the murder.
According to preliminary investigation by the police, Janga Bahadur, who came home from India on September 29, killed his wife after a dispute. Pramila used to trade tea in Jaljale. Pramila is survived by two children.
She was also learning Korean by running a tea stall. Her two sons are studying in 4th and 1st grade. The relationship between the couple was not good for about two years.
It is known that she was killed after a dispute when there was a discussion about improving their relationship and living together. After the murder, he cut off her head with a khukuri and carried it away, the locals informed the police. SP Yogi informed that the police arrested him from about 1 km away.
