Vehicular movement suspended on Narayangadh-Muglin-Nagdhunga road
Chitwan, September 28 — Local authorities have suspended vehicle movement on the Narayangadh-Muglin-Nagdhunga road due to potential damage from rainfall. The District Administration Office in Chitwan issued a notice today, announcing a complete halt to all vehicle operations until 5 a.m. on Sunday.
According to the notice issued by Administrative Officer Antim Sinjali, the risk of landslides remains on this road segment, prompting the suspension of all traffic. The notice requests vehicle owners and passengers to refrain from using the road and to stay in place for their safety.
Vehicles heading towards Kathmandu that left on Friday will now be stuck at the roadside until Sunday due to adverse weather conditions, and passengers are advised to remain patient.
The District Administration Office has also urged residents to avoid riverbank areas unless absolutely necessary. Previously, the office had already imposed restrictions on vehicle movement on this road segment on Friday night. In case of any emergency, the public is advised to contact the local police office.
