ICC Men’s World Cup League 2: Oman elects to field first against Nepal

Kathmandu, September 18 — Nepal is set to compete against Oman in the ICC Men’s World Cup League 2 at 8:45 AM Nepali Standard Time. Oman has won the toss and elected to field first.

Oman is considered Nepal’s arch-rival in cricket, with Oman holding a slight edge in One Day Internationals (ODIs), having won 4 matches compared to Nepal's 3.

The last encounter between the two teams took place on April 21, 2023, during the Asia Cup qualifiers, where Nepal triumphed over Oman by 84 runs.
