House session prorogued

Kathmandu, September 15 — The government has decided to recommend the termination of the federal parliament session to the President starting midnight on Monday, September 16.

This decision was made during the cabinet meeting held on Sunday, September 15.

The budget session of Parliament began on April 11, 2024.

However, the session has been impacted due to ongoing confrontations between the two communist parties, CPN (UML)and CPN (Maoist Centre), leading to disruptions in parliamentary proceedings.
