Speaker Ghimire holds talks with Chief Whips ahead of House session

Kathmandu, September 15 — Speaker Devraj Ghimire has initiated discussions with the chief whips of national parties.

The meeting includes chief whips from the Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, CPN-Maoist Center, Rastriya Swatantra Party, and Rastriya Prajatantra Party.

Following the CPN-Maoist Center's announcement of a potential disruption in the House, the Speaker has convened this discussion with party chief whips. 

Ahead of today's House session, the Speaker is preparing to address the issue of objection raised by the Maoists concerning the use of the term "violence," with the aim of reaching a consensus.
