Protesters stage semi-nude march in Kathmandu for Dalit rights (Photos)

Kathmandu, September 14 —  Protesters staged a semi-nude march at Maitighar on Saturday, alleging that the rights of Dalits enshrined in the constitution are not being upheld. Demonstrators, who have long been advocating for better representation, expressed their frustration by organizing the protest.

Dozen of activists marched from Maitighar to Baneshwor, chanting slogans criticizing the lack of equal opportunities for Dalits. The protest highlighted their ongoing grievances about inadequate representation and institutional discrimination affecting the Dalit community.
