CPN (Maoist Center) calls parliamentary party meeting
Kathmandu, September 13 — The main opposition party, the CPN (Maoist Center), has called a meeting of its parliamentary party.
According to the party’s chief whip, Hitraj Pandey, the meeting is scheduled for 2 PM at the party office in Singhadurbar. Pandey stated that the meeting aims to discuss the current political situation and ways to make parliamentary proceedings more effective.
The Maoist Center is also preparing to deliberate on the ruling party's move to remove Deputy Speaker Indira Rana Magar, as well as to develop a stance on this issue.
Additionally, Prime Minister KP Oli has called a meeting of the Constitutional Council for this evening.
Prime Minister Oli had a discussion on Monday with Council member and Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda.
