Political bigwigs meet amid Deputy Speaker's probable removal
Kathmandu, September 12 — A meeting is underway in Baluwatar between the top leaders of the three major parties.
According to the Prime Minister's Secretariat, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, and Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, the leader of the main opposition party and Chairman of the Maoist Center, are currently meeting at the Prime Minister's official residence.
A member of the Prime Minister's Secretariat stated, "The leaders are meeting in Baluwatar, but the details of their discussion are not known."
The timing of this meeting is significant as the ruling UML and the Nepali Congress are preparing to remove the Deputy Speaker.
