Parliamentary Hearing Committee to review ambassador nominees today

Kathmandu, September 1 — The parliamentary hearing committee is scheduled to commence today to review the proposed ambassadors. The meeting, scheduled for 11 a.m., will focus on reviewing the candidates for ambassadorial positions in various countries.

The committee reviewed complaints from individuals last Friday who argued that the nominees for 17 different countries were unsuitable.

According to the agenda, decisions regarding the ambassadors will be made on the 24th and 25^th of Bhadra.

Due to the Teej festival on 21st, the weekend on the 22nd, and Panchami festival on the 23rd, the committee has planned to complete the parliamentary hearing process within the 8 days surrounding these dates.
