US diplomat Verma paid a courtesy call on PM Oli

Kathmandu, August 16 – The U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Richard Verma called on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Friday.

The discussions focused on strengthening mutual relations and exploring bilateral interests between Nepal and the United States.

Deputy Secretary Verma, who arrived in Kathmandu earlier that morning, is also scheduled to hold high-level talks with Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba and other officials later today.
