I don't worry whole day about becoming the Prime Minister: Madhav Nepal

Pokhara: Madhav Kumar Nepal, the chairman of the CPN (Unified Socialist), declared that he would not ponder for the whole day over becoming Prime Minister. Talking to reporters in Pokhara, he claimed that events led to his appointment as prime minister.

"It was created by circumstances; I didn't ask anyone to make me a Prime Minister." Girija Prasad Koirala made a proposal in a particular situation," he stated. "Madhav Nepal is not a man who bows down to anyone," he continued. I don't believe that I shall be influenced by any foreign or domestic authority. I don't consider it that much important whether or not I will become Prime Minister."

He stated that no one is able to alter the constitution, not even with the combined might of Nepal's regressive forces. "Regressive forces continue to exist. They are considering undoing the achievements. Change cannot be undone in Nepali society," he declared.

He declared his intention to take the "Samajwadi Morcha" to new heights. "We wish to take the communist front to unprecedented heights. Prachandaji has asked me to take the initiation to unite the socialist forces. After speaking with a number of parties, he continued, "five partries are committed to be in one front." Upendra Yadav is positive in joining the Morcha. We even want to incorporate UML as well.

The former Prime Minister Nepal issued a warning, saying that nobody should think that the Unified Socialist Party will disintegrate. "A rumor is circulating. A meeting of the party has also been summoned. Such an intention does not exist inside the party. Individuals can arrive at the party and depart at any time.  However, more people are joining the party than are departing," he stated. "But, if someone tries to split the party, it will not succeed" , he stated.
