Pandey expands Cabinet, Devkota and Manange inducted

Pokhara: Two new ministers in Gandaki Province have taken the oath of office and secrecy today. Fanindra Devkota of Nepal Samajwadi Party and independent lawmaker Rajeev Gurung alias Deepak Manange were sworn in today.

 Devkota has been allocated the portfolio of Minister for Energy and Water Resources whereas Manange got the Physical Infrastructure berth. Devkota had crossed the floor and given the trust vote to the Chief Minister yesterday, not heeding to the Maoist whip.

Province Chief Dilliraj Bhatta administered the oath to both of the newly appointed ministers. Pandey expanded the cabinet after he secured trust vote from the Province assembly yesterday. The number of ministers in Pandey Cabinet reaches five.
