12 candidates enter the fray for Bajhang by-elections

BAJHANG: The registration of candidacy for the upcoming by-elections in Bajhang Provincial Assembly (1), scheduled for April 27, witnessed the participation of a total of 12 candidates.

Chief Election Officer Sudarshan Lamichhane confirmed the registration of the candidates, representing various political parties, for the by-elections.

Noteworthy candidates who have filed their nominations include Abhishek Bahadur Singh from the Nepali Congress, Daman Bahadur Bhandari from CPN (UML), Janak Bahadur Budha from CPN (Maoist Centre), Dil Bahadur Singh from CPN (Unified Socialist), and Ram Bahadur Jagri from the Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal.

Additionally, Gajendra Bahadur Thapa from Rastriya Matribhoomi Party, Deepak Bahadur Khadka from Federal National Forum, Khagendra Bahadur Shahi from Nepal Workers Peasants Party, and Kamal Ghartimagar from National Republic Party have also thrown their hats into the ring for the by-elections.

Chief Election Officer Lamichhane further informed that Sushila Bista from Janamat Party, Ashok Sunar from Nepali Janata Dal, and Kishor Kumar Khadka from Rastriya Prajatantra Party have registered their candidacies for the by-elections.
