PM Dahal urges Nagarik Unmukti Party to join the government

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has reached out to the Nagarik Unmukti Party, urging them to join forces with the government.

In a meeting today, PM Dahal and Chairman Ranjita Shrestha, along with other party leaders, discussed potential collaboration.

PM Dahal proposed offering a ministerial position to the party and encouraged them to become part of the government.

The meeting delved into various political dynamics, including discussions about the Sudurpaschim Provincial government and the formation of a government in Lumbini Province.

Earlier, the Nagarik Unmukti Party had supported PM Dahal's administration to secure a vote of confidence in parliament.

The party has expressed interest in leading Sudurpaschim Province, where their support is pivotal for the government's stability.

At present, the party supports the Nepali Congress-led government in Sudurpaschim Province, with five out of seven lawmakers holding ministerial positions.
