Kathmandu witnesses lowest temperature of the year

KATHMANDU: On Monday, Kathmandu experienced the lowest temperature of the year, marking a significant drop in the morning temperature.

According to the latest data from the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the temperature plummeted to 3.2 degrees Celsius, making it the coldest recorded temperature in the Kathmandu Valley this year.

Anticipating a continued decrease in temperature in the upcoming days, the division has issued a forecast indicating a further dip in temperatures.

Simultaneously, the division predicts that the maximum temperature in the valley will range between 16 to 18 degrees Celsius today.

Residents are advised to take necessary precautions to cope with the unusually low temperatures.
