Nepali Under-19 Cricket Team gears up for clash with New Zealand
KATHMANDU: In the group stage of the ICC U19 Men's Cricket World Cup, Nepal is preparing to face New Zealand in what promises to be a compelling match.
The game between these two nations is set to commence at 1:45 PM at Buffalo Park, East London in South Africa.
The 15th edition of this prestigious tournament will showcase the emerging talents of 16 countries, featuring 41 exciting matches across five venues that offer a glimpse into the future of international cricket.
Nepal is placed in Group D alongside cricket powerhouses Pakistan and Afghanistan. In addition to today's match against New Zealand, Nepal's upcoming fixtures include a clash with Pakistan on Wednesday and a face-off against Afghanistan on Friday.
As the group stage unfolds, the top three teams from each group will advance to the next phase. The subsequent 12 nations will be divided into two groups, competing in the super six stage where each team will play two games. Eventually, the two leading teams from each group will vie for a spot in the semi-finals of the U19 Cricket World Cup.
