Tribhuwan Army Club commands victory with a nine-wicket dominance over Koshi Province

KATHMANDU: In a display of cricket prowess during Thursday's PM Cup Men’s National Cricket Tournament, the Tribhuwan Army Club showcased dominance, securing an emphatic nine-wicket triumph against Koshi Province.

Seizing the toss advantage, Tribhuwan Army Club efficiently restricted Koshi Province to a modest 88 runs in 24.4 overs.

In the pursuit of the target of 89 runs, Tribhuwan Army Club demonstrated exceptional efficiency, achieving victory within a mere 9.5 overs.

Santosh Karki played a pivotal role in this triumph, contributing 32 runs with six fours and one six.

Opener Imran Sheikhs showcased his skill with a solid 32 runs featuring five fours and one six, while Kushal Malla added 22 runs to the scoreboard.

The instrumental bowling performance of Shahab Alam significantly contributed to Tribhuwan Army Club's triumph, as he played a central role in taking wickets during the match.

This victory not only cements the Army's position in the ongoing tournament but also adds to their momentum.
