KATHMANDU: The Prithvi Jayanti and National Unity Day is being marked across the country today.

On the occasion, President Ram Chandra Poudel paid tribute to Prithvi Narayan Shah, the founder of modern Nepal, on his 302nd birth anniversary, and offered a garland to the life-size statue of Shah located in front of Singha Durbar in Kathmandu.
