CPN (US) Secretariat meeting extends, Congresses postponed
KATHMANDU, Dec 19: The Secretariat meeting of the CPN (Unified Socialist) has been extended. The meeting called for Monday and Tuesday to discuss the statute amendment will sit again on Saturday, informed leader Jeevanram Shrestha.
Meanwhile, CPN (US) has decided to postpone District and Municipal level Congresses saying the process of statute amendment has moved forward. It has been decided to postpone all Congresses that have been scheduled to be held before January 29, 2024, and that the date for holding the Congresses will be decided on only after January 29. Leader Shrestha informed that Tuesday’s secretariat meeting decided on this.
Respected leader Jhalanath Khanal informed that the procedure for the selection of the leader was discussed rigorously in the Secretariat meeting.
