Government decides to hold Nemwang's funeral with state honours

KATHMANDU, Sep 12: The government is going to hold the funeral of Constituent Assembly Speaker and UML Vice Chairman Subas Nemwang with state honours.

The Minister of Tourism Sudan Kirati informed that the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday morning decided to hold the funeral of Nemwang with state honours.

The government has also decided to give a national holiday on the day of his funeral. His two sons, who are abroad, will also be coming to Nepal for the funeral. Before that, Nemwang’s mortal body will be kept at the CPN UML’s party headquarters at Chyasal. Nemwang passed away last night.
