Lalita Niwas Case: Debate on behalf of 17 defendants finished

KATHMANDU, Sep 8: The debate on behalf of the 17 defendants arrested in the land misappropriation case of the government land inside the Lalita Niwas Camp, has ended.

Lawyers of 9 defendants debated on Friday on whether to detain or release the defendants. The debate on behalf of defendants Yograj Paudel, Narayan Raj Mishra, Arun Kumar Shrestha, Dhruba Prasad Aryal, Keshav Tuladhar, Baburaja Maharjan, Dev Narayan Maharjan, Sakalananda Maharjan and Sanjay Kumar Maharjan has ended.

18 people are currently in custody in the case. Now the debate on behalf of only one defendant, Lokhari Ghimire is remaining. The lawyer of Ghimire is debating on Sunday.
