We strongly condemn this incident. This incident has confirmed that the Home Minister, who is responsible for protecting the lives of ordinary citizens and maintaining peace and security in the country, has failed completely."

"We also demand the resignation of the worthless Home Minister who cannot even protect someone of the calibre of a former minister in a public place in the Capital", said the Student Union.
