RSP prepares to call Central Committee meeting before Sep 1

KATHMANDU, Aug 18: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is preparing to call the party’s central committee meeting before the 1st of September, informed RSP’s Joint General Secretary and Organization Department Head Kabindra Burlakoti.

RSP is currently collecting suggestions from 51 villages to prepare party documents. Burlakoti said that they are reaching out to the citizens and taking suggestions for the documents to make geographical and community diversity.

Each of the 17-member teams formed by the party is reaching the locations and collecting suggestions. During the preparation of the 'New Era Resolution' document, the members of the delegation will have to visit three places and give a five-day time in each place. The 15-day deadline for collecting suggestions is about to expire. He said that the work of collecting suggestions has also reached the final stage. 

On the other hand, the program of the collection of candidates in the ward committees which was supposed to start from the Nepali month of Bhadra has been postponed for Asoj. After collecting the candidates, RSP is preparing to form a ward committee through online voting. 

RSP has formed about 290 municipality committees out of 753, constituencies in 154 out of 165 constituencies, 74 district committees out of 77, and seven provincial committees. According to Burlakoti, the task of forming committees is going on in all municipalities and constituencies.
