CM Thapa to take vote of confidence on August 21
BIRATNAGAR, August 18: The Chief Minister of Koshi Province Uddhav Thapa will take the vote of confidence on the 21st of August.
CM Thapa, who was appointed as the CM according to Clause (2) of Article 168 of the Constitution of Nepal, had submitted an application to the Parliament Secretariat fixing the time of 20 August to take the vote of confidence in accordance with Clause (1) and (2) of Rule 128 of the Provincial Assembly Rules and Regulations 2074 (First Amendment).
Thapa who was appointed the Chief Minister on August 1, informed that the Deputy Speaker Sirjana Danuwar, who has also been acting as the Speaker, gave the date of August 21 for taking the vote of confidence.
