KATHMANDU, Aug 16: The Statutory Central Committee Expansion Pro-Struggle Committee of the Nepal Students Union (NSU) has started a relay hunger strike.

The dissatisfied faction of the NSU started the hunger strike at the Central Party Office in Sanepa on Wednesday.

The Central Ad Hoc Committee of the Students Union was only formed a few days ago. The dissatisfied faction started the hunger strike claiming that the said committee was not inclusive.

They have also alleged that the Ad Hoc Committee is illegal. They have demanded to include the Central Working Committee of the Union so that everyone is represented as per the constitution.
