Ruling Coalition decides to discuss with parties including UML to remove parliament obstruction
KATHMANDU, Aug 16: The ruling coalition has decided to intensify discussions with parties including CPN UML to remove the obstruction of the parliament.
The meeting of the ruling coalition held on Wednesday at the official residence of the Prime Minister decided to intensify discussions with the main opposition party UML and other representative parties of the parliament in order to remove the obstruction of the parliament.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN Unified Socialist Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal, Deputy Prime Ministers Purna Bahadur Khadka, Narayankaji Shrestha and others were present in the meeting.
UML has been continuously obstructing the parliament demanding the formation of a high-level investigation committee, but the ruling coalition has already concluded that the formation of the investigation committee is not necessary.
It has been informed that the case of the Lalita Niwas land scandal was also discussed in the meeting.
