Photo Feature: Heavy rain affects livelihood in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, Aug 13: According to the Weather Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the country has been facing rainfall all over the country as the Monsoon low-pressure line is located to the north of Sardar (near Nepal).

The livelihood of people in Kathmandu Valley has been affected as light to heavy rain has been gracing the valley since morning.

As the possibility of flooding around the river has increased due to heavy rainfall, the Flood Forecasting Division has urged people to be cautious in areas near water.
