Gold price decreases by Rs 1100 per tola

KATHMANDU, Aug 12: The price of gold has decreased by 1100 rupees per tola in the Nepalese market this week. 

Last Friday, the price of hallmarked fine gold in the market was Rs 112 thousand and 200 per tola. It has decreased to Rs 111 thousand 100 this Friday, according to the Gold and Silver Federation.

Similarly, the price of Tejabi gold is Rs 110 thousand and 650 per tola this Friday.

The price of silver has also decreased this week. It has decreased by Rs 50 per tola compared to last week. The price of silver was Rs 1425 which has decreased to Rs 1375 per tola this Friday.

It's important to note that one tola is equivalent to 11.66 grams.
