Maoists to change and assign responsibilities to office bearers

KATHMANDU, Aug 6: CPN Maoists Centre has made the decision to change the responsibilities of its office bearers.

The proposal to change the responsibilities of the office bearers was passed in the office bearers meeting which was held at 1 pm before the Central Committee meeting. Chairman Prachanda will submit the aforementioned proposal in the Central Committee meeting, Secretary Dinanath Sharma informed.

According to the information given by an office bearer, the responsibility of the entire party has been given to Chairman Prachanda. Deputy Chairman Mahara has been entrusted with the unification of the party and the Socialist Front. 

Another Deputy Chairman Agni Prasad Sapkota has been given the responsibility of everything related to publicity. Similarly, Pampha Bhusal has been assigned the task of looking after the People's Organization.

Deputy General Secretary Barshaman Pun and Janardan Sharma have been assigned the task of looking after non-provinces. On the other hand, Secretary Devendra Paudel has been handed the responsibility of the provinces.

After Prime Minister Prachanda answers all of the questions raised in the meeting, the Central Committee meeting will end officially.
