KATHMANDU, July 29: Protestors have demonstrated in front of the Offices of the Mayor and the Deputy Mayor, demanding to end the excessiveness of the Kathmandu Metropolitan and to treat all people and professions equally.

The group of protestors, identifying as an independent group, demonstrated in front of the National Hall with slogans such as "No one will speak for the poor."

The protestors stood in a queue and demanded the Metropolitan city end the excessive actions taken against street vendors and small businesspersons and give them a proper alternative.

Earlier, they had held a peaceful demonstration in front of the Metropolitan City Office.
