Microfinance victims surround Singha Darbar (With Pics)

KATHMANDU, July 23: The Struggle Committee Against Microfinance Institutions Nepal Central Committee has surrounded the Singha Darbar with various demands after a rally.
They have demanded to cancel the microfinance institutions established as neo-feudal, in order to waive the collective loans imposed by microfinance institutions, to provide free loans to poor farmers, to arrange work and prices based on needs and abilities, and to develop a socialist economy.
They started a protest march from Maitighar Mandala, moving through Thapathali, Tripureshwar, Sundhara, Jamal, and Ghantaghar, and reached Bhadrakali where they gathered.
