Former Butwal Deputy Chief Khanal passes away

BUTWAL, July 23: The former Deputy Chief of Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City, Ram Prasad Khanal, has passed away at 83.
Khanal passed away on Sunday morning during treatment at Tinau Hospital. According to his family, Khanal had been suffering from asthma for a long time.
Khanal was the Deputy Chief of Butwal Municipality from 2049 to 2053 BS. The Secretary of Congress Region No. 2 Prajapal Giri said that the modest local leader was also the Butwal City President of the Nepal Congress for a long time.
