Microfinance victims surround Rastra Bank (with pictures)

KATHMANDU, July 22: Victims of microfinance institutions have surrounded the Rastra Bank protesting against the institutions.
The Struggle Committee against Microfinance Institutions Nepal conducted the protest with various demands on Saturday.
About 800-900 protesters rallied from Maitighar to Baluwatar in protest. They demonstrated in front of Bhatbhateni Chowk near Rastra Bank premises.
The microfinance victims have been protesting in the capital for a few days claiming they were scammed by those institutions.
