Meeting of Ruling coalition today for forming new government in Koshi Province

KATHMANDU, July 3: A meeting of the ruling coalition is being held at 4 pm today for the formation of a new government in the Koshi Province. The meeting will be held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.

After the UML-led government collapsed on Friday as it failed to get a vote of confidence, the chief of the Koshi Province, Parshuram Khapung, called for the formation of a new government on Sunday.

To finalize which party will lead the Provincial government, the top leaders of the Nepali Congress, CPN Maoist Center, Janata Samajbadi Party and CPN Unified Socialist are going to discuss the matter in the meeting today.

There will also be a discussion on the division of the Chairpersons of the different committees of the Parliamentary Committee.

There are 10 thematic committees and 2 joint committees in the House of Representatives.
