Government exempts Dhurmus Suntali Foundation from tax

KATHMANDU, June 20: The government has decided to exempt the Dhurmus Suntali Foundation from taxes after the transfer of the houses under the ownership of Giranchaur Integrated Model Settlement Reconstruction and Tourism Promotion Project.

Information and Communication Technology Minister Rekha Sharma informed that the decision was made to give Dhurmus Suntali Foundation a discount on the advance tax due on the payment; and collection of the tax that was due after the transfer of the house property owned by Giranchaur Integrated Model Settlement Redevelopment and Tourism Promotion. 

“Decision has been made to form a Nepalese team for the joint re-establishment of border marker pillar (53) 1 at Tatopani Jhangmu on the Nepal-China border”, she said.
