Sudurpashchim Province Law Minister Singh in critical condition following accident

DHANGADHI, June 20: The vehicle that was carrying the Internal Affairs and Law Minister of the Sudurpashchim Province, Prithvi Bahadur Singh, met with an accident. The Minister and three others that were in the vehicle are in critical condition.

The vehicle with registration plate number 01001 Jha 480 fell about 50 meters to the Kalanga River bank from the road at Dharchhada in Kedar-Syun Rural Municipality while going to Chainpur from Dadeldhura.

Minister Singh, his wife Amrita Singh (aged 64), his daughter-in-law Jayadevi Singh (aged 60), and his bodyguard Dipak Bhandari are in an unconscious state, informed Assistant Chief District Officer of Bajhang, Satya Kumari Joshi.

The condition of the driver Dharmaraj Joshi is moderate.

Joshi told Ratopati that preparations are being made to refer all five of them to Nepalgunj by helicopter. More details about the incident are yet to come.
