KATHMANDU, June 15:  The Parliamentary Hearing Committee is taking clarification from the proposed Chief Justice Harikrishna Karki today. Karki attended the committee meeting on Thursday morning.

The committee called Karki today for a discussion on the recommendation of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. Karki, who has held the position of Acting Chief Justice for a long time, was recommended as the Chief Justice in the first week of this month.

Karki was recommended by the Chief Justice of the Constitutional Council and will be questioned about the complaints against him. The committee had a discussion with the complainant about the 29 complaints against him on Wednesday.
